Call For Volunteers, Last Call for Speakers

Happy Summer from the WordCamp Phoenix team!

We’ve been busy planning an exciting event for the end of October, and we’d love your help if you’re interested in volunteering (also, our call for Speakers has been extended until Monday at 11:59 PM — we’d love for you to apply to speak as well).

Each year a small team of dedicated volunteers helps make WordCamp Phoenix the enjoyable, valuable weekend we all look forward to.

Volunteers assist with guest registration, announcing speakers, running the Happiness Bar, A/V assistance, task running and more. WordCamp volunteers can contribute a few hours or for the whole camp. To thank volunteers for their generosity, they receive free admission to the event as well as a t-shirt.

If you’re interested, please apply to volunteer and tell us a little about your skills and interests.

Announcing WordCamp Phoenix 2017 at Galvanize Phoenix on October 28 – 29

Plans for WordCamp Phoenix 2017 have Galvanized!

On October 28th and 29th we’re planning a two-day event in the heart of Downtown Phoenix’s Warehouse District at Galvanize Phoenix, a code academy and coworking community.

Housed in a vast, restored food distribution warehouse, Galvanize Phoenix is a growing local hub for web professionals and companies using WordPress, and we’re thrilled to have their presentation and collaborative spaces for a memorable weekend of learning and connections.

We’ll be announcing more information soon including speakers, sessions, after-party location and more!

We can’t wait to see you all in October! Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for updates.
