Where should I park?

Galvanize Phoenix is located at 515 E Grant St, between 5th St and 7th St. A little over 100 parking spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Additional parking can be found in the parking lot directly NE from Galvanize at the cost of $5 per day. You can pay on the day using your cell phone. Look for the website provided on entry. Alternately, you may find parking in neighborhoods and in structures near the stadiums & CityScape a few blocks north.

Is public transport available?

The closest light rail stations are at 3rd St & Washington St and 3rd St & Jefferson St and a 15 minute walk from Galvanize. We always encourage the use of Valley METRO’s free Park-and-Ride locations along the light rail and GRID bikes. Uber, Lyft, and local taxi services are also available.

I need a hotel for the weekend, any recommendations?

Downtown Phoenix has lots of options for overnight accommodation. The Residence Inn Phoenix Downtown, and the Courtyard Phoenix Downtown are both good hotel options and there is a discount available for WordCamp attendees. Click here to book either using the discount.

WordCamp was awesome, but I can’t wait until the next one.

Neither can we. There is a thriving community of WordPress people here in Arizona. You can find out more info on AZWP’s Meetup page about their three meetups a month, which are like mini WordCamp experiences.
